Stony Sleep was a British grunge teenage band from the second half of the 1990s that kept alive the rebellious guitar-driven spirit that had stirred up the first half of the decade.

After two excellent albums released in '97 and '99, and more recently a compilation of unreleased tracks, they are releasing their Peel Sessions this Friday in collaboration with YSB Records and Influenza Records. For the occasion, a limited edition of cassettes is on sale (1997 session on side A, 1998 session on side B) and there's even an illustration by Halfbob for a "Lady Lazarus" music video
