SPIDERLAND
After being created in the mid 90, Brittany’s Spiderland released an album and then splitted. Twenty years and a few other projects later (Bastet, Kaiser Palace, Coude), they’re back with a new line-up, new songs and (cough cough) a new label.
All this will give, soon on record and on stage, new life to a very specific idea of what guitar music should sound like, under the double influence of indie music from windy Chicago and foggy London.
Après sa création au milieu des années 90, les finistériens de Spiderland ont tout juste le temps de sortir un album avant que leurs chemins se séparent. Vingt ans et quelques projets plus tard (Bastet, Kaiser Palace, Coude), ils reviennent avec un nouveau line-up, de nouvelles chansons et (tousse tousse) un nouveau label.
De quoi redonner, bientôt sur disque et sur scène, une nouvelle jeunesse sonique à une certaine idée du rock à guitares, sous le double patronage de musiques indépendantes made in Chicago la venteuse et Londres la brumeuse.
